Based in Sandringham, Amos Hair is a multi-award winning hair salon specialising in precision cutting ,advanced hair colouring and hair extensions.
Founded by directors Nik and Amelia, who were both internationally trained at Vidal Sassoon’s salon in London, UK, the team have picked up a number of awards including being named HBIA finalists. On top of the accolades, Amos has worked alongside some of Australia’s best, including Kevin Murphy at the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week.
The team’s ability pushes the boundaries of hair, consistently providing original looks and always keeping up to date with the next. With passion and professionalism at the forefront of the business, every experience is enjoyed, and most importantly, every look is loved.

As such, every customer is treated to a head massage while sitting in one of our Italian Shiatsu massage chairs. Sit, relax, and order yourself a complimentary beverage from our menu. If you’re feeling a little peckish, treat yourself to something off the Red Moose menu from around the corner. We also offer iPads and free Wi-Fi to keep you entertained for the longer appointments and ensure there’s not a dull moment of your time spent at the salon.
PRODUCTS
We don’t only cut, colour and style, but we set you up to maintain your hair with the highest quality products on the market. Using ranges such as Kevin Murphy, Cloud Nine, Jadore Hair extensions, Olaplex, K18, Revlon Professional, Common Sense haircare are all available in salon for purchase. You’ll walk out with the tools to style and maintain your hair from home.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Things happen, often at the most inconvenient of times. We’re human and we get it. We do, however, request that all customers give at least 24hrs notice for a cancellation/change. The reason is that it allows us to provide the appointment to someone else in who may need it. There is a $40 fee for cancellations within 24 hrs of the appointment time. Please also note that any major changes to the services you're booked in for on the day will also incur a fee of 50% of the original amount.
